Privacy Policy for vPSIOnline.Com

This Privacy Policy explains our policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. As we update and expand our services, this policy may change, so please refer back to it periodically. By accessing our Web site or using our services, you consent to our information practices.

“Personal Information” means information that can be used to identify and contact you, specifically your name, postal delivery address, e-mail address, payment method if appropriate and telephone number, as well as other information when such information is combined with your personal information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. vPSI will take reasonable measures to ensure that registration information, including user identity, email addresses are kept confidential and used for vPSI’s internal purposes only. vPSI will not sale or disclose user information and email addresses to third parties. vPSI may from time to time communicate with registered users and subscribers using the email addresses provided to vPSI during the registration process. These communications may include information regarding updates to the system, information about vPSI and its services or other information that vPSI in its discretion deems appropriate.

When you register at vPSIONLINE.COM, we ask you to supply us with personal information so that we can provide, enhance and personalize our services and product efforts. We use this personal information to process your registration, your pre-task planning documents (“PTP Documents”), and to communicate with you on these and other topics. We also use your e-mail address to deliver PTP Documents, and various notices. Your current and correct contact information is vital for us to fully enable the benefits of the vPSI Online Pre-Task Planning Tool & Library System (“PTP System”) for your account.

While using the PTP System, you may have opportunities to post PTP Documents which may contain other personal information into Libraries that are public or open. Please understand that when you post such information, it is made public and is not subject to this policy.

As you browse the vPSIONLINE site, cookies are placed on your computer's hard drive. (Cookies are small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your hard drive for record keeping purposes.) In general, Cookies enable us to identify who you are, keep you logged in to your account and to properly associate you with PTP Document libraries. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you will not be able to use the PTP System.

We also reserve the right to disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to establish or exercise legal rights, or in situations involving potential threats to physical safety.

Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. By using this Web site, or providing personal information to us through any means, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of this site.

As we update and expand our services, we may make changes to this policy. You should check back for updates to this policy from time to time. If the changes result in materially less protection for your personal information than that provided in this policy, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and obtain your consent to the changes. Like our Terms of Use, of which this policy is a part, your use of the vPSIONLINE site or continued use of our service after our efforts to contact you means that you agree to be bound by such changes.
